What an awesome night we had on Thursday! Thank you to everyone that came and showed off their dance moves! We were extremely lucky that the weather cleared up and it wasn't pouring down like it was the night before! If you missed it due to ill health, don't worry - you can come to the next one!!
TUAKANA-TEINA
Tuakana-teina is an integral part of Maori society. It's an amazing model of how buddy systems are beneficial as the tuakana/expert helps guide the teina/younger or less experienced person. This concept creates a rich learning environment for both parties as both are able to learn from each other. Here are a few pictures of us with our buddy class doing some reading together :) Thank you room 5 for being patient with us and helping us learn!
